GRANT TO REFURBISH ADMIN BUILDING

We need your help!

The NSW State Government is offering grants from $20,000 to $200,000 for each state electorate, in a program called My Community Projects.

The Admin Building Sub-Committee has applied for a grant of $120,000 for renovation of the toilets and storage area at the western (Tennyson Road) end of the Admin Building. The plan envisages three cubicles, two unisex toilets and a urinal, each with their own handwashing facilities and a refurbished storage area.

The BP Men’s Shed have agreed to act as official Sponsor to the request. If we receive the grant, we would hire a licenced builder and the Sponsor would receive the funds and oversee the project to completion.

The Community Association as the owner of the building is required to give its consent to the application and Don McKenzie has provided that with a written a letter of support.

IMPORTANT: Grants will be awarded entirely by public vote, 15 July to 15 August 2019.

No paid advertising is permitted. We will need the whole of the Breakfast Point Community to show their support by voting online for this worthy project. Please mention this to your neighbours.

To vote, an individual must click here to follow the link:

(a) have, or open, an account with Services NSW www.service.nsw.gov.au, and

Thanking you in advance for your support!
