Dear Breakfast Point Community
The next stage of our traffic management plan will occur in approximately two weeks’ time. This involves the installation of a roundabout and associated works at the intersection of Juniper Drive and Orchards Avenue. The intent, as with all of our traffic works, is to help further regulate traffic flow and to better contain traffic speeds within our community.
Attached is a two page summary (notice and street map) that we wish to have circulated with your assistance. Please place a copy on your noticeboards and also share these materials with your strata residents.
For those living in close proximity to the works (Chateaux, Burgundy Hill [Vineyards North Precinct], Glengarry and Juniper) we will be undertaking a separate letter box drop with more detailed guidelines. Those who will have their car park service impacted [Mulberry Hill and Celeste] will also be contacted.
Please note that the works should start on or about Monday, 29 April and finish within one week, ending on or about Saturday, 4 May, weather permitting. Naturally there will be some disruption to both cars and pedestrians during the works period but we are working with the contractor to minimise this. They will have Traffic Controllers active on the site.
The next stage works, to add speed calmers around the community, is yet to be contracted and is likely to be several months away. We will advise the community of this follow on project as the facts become known to us.
