Cabarita Wharf Upgrade

Out of hours work

The NSW Government is upgrading Cabarita Wharf as part of the Transport Access Program. The Transport Access Program is an initiative to provide a better experience for public transport customers by delivering accessible, modern, secure and integrated transport infrastructure.
Ferry services are continuing to operate to Cabarita during construction.

Out of hours work will take place for up to three nights between Monday 11 June and Friday 22 June, weather and maritime conditions permitting.

To allow us to lift sections of the new wharf into position calm water conditions are required. These conditions usually occur in the early hours of the morning when wind is low and there are fewer boats in the harbour.

Our night work hours will be between 11pm and 7am. To reduce the impact of noise on nearby residents, noisy work would be limited to two consecutive nights followed by a night of quiet or no work. There would be no night work on Saturday night or before midnight on Sunday night.

We thank you for your patience during this work and apologise for any inconvenience.

If you have any questions, please contact the wharf upgrade project team on 1800 770 973 or email WharfUpgradeProgram@rms.nsw.gov.au.
